Team System goes Web

Visual Studio 2005, die neue .NET 2.0 Entwicklungsumgebung, gibt es bekanntlich in 3 Versionen: Standard, Professional und Team System. Letztere, die umfangreichste und zugleich auch teuerste, beihaltet eine umfangreiche Unterst�tzung f�r die Entwicklung von .NET-L�sungen im Team und ist in 3 Auspr�gungen erh�ltlich, die sich an verschiedene Entwicklergruppen richtet: Software Architects, Software Developer, Software Tester und, neu, Database Professionals.

Dieser Weg zu einer umfassenden Koordination, Kontrolle und Kommunikation w�hrend der Erstellung eines Software-Produkts wird jedoch erst m�glich durch den Einsatz einer zentralen Instanz, dem Visual Studio Team Foundation Server. Dort werden alle relevanten Daten zusammengef�hrt. F�r den Zugriff auf diese SQL Server 2005-basierenden Daten, dienen, neben den oben erw�hnten Visual Studio Team System Editionen, auch der sog. Team Foundation Client und der Team Explorer. Beides Programme die auf den jeweiligen Maschinen installiert werden muss.
