Der Internet Explorer 7.0 beherrscht ja die Anzeige und Verwaltung von RSS-Feeds ganz gut, wenn auch nicht �berragend. So fehlt f�r meine Belange unter anderem eine Funktion zur Aggregation von Feeds und ein schlichter Hinweis, wenn sich in einem bestimmten Feed etwas getan hat.

Chrix Finne and Nate Furtwangler, Mitglieder der Redmonder RSS-Truppe, haben sich des Themas angenommen und eine wirklich sinnvolle IE7-Erweiterung geschrieben, die zumindest mit diesen beiden Mankos aufr�umt.

Das nicht offiziell supportete Add-On FeedsPlus, das bislang nur in englischer Sprache vorliegt, bietet neben der gesammelten Anzeige von Feeds eines Ordners, ein Vista-gestyltes Hinweisfenster, sobald ein Feed aktualisiert wurde. Das �berrp�fungsintervall kann minimal auf 15 Minuten einstellen; maximal auf eine Woche, was dem Sinn allerdings schon wieder entgegenl�uft.

Schaut man sich auf der Seite enhanceie.com, auf der die Entwickler das Tools ver�ffentlicht haben, noch etwas um, st�sst man auf weitere kleine Perlen, mit dem sich der Umgang mit dem neuen Microsoft-Browser erleichtern l�sst.

So bin ich es als Firefox-Nutzer gew�hnt �ber eine kleine Suchleiste am unteren Rand des Browser zu suchen, wo der IE nur ein spr�des Dialogfenster zu bieten hat. Abhilfe schafft hier Inline Search...
