JS Bin - Javascript im Team online testen

Der Brite Remy Sharp hat ein Online-Testing-Tool f�r Javascript auf die Beine gestellt was einen zweiten Blick wert ist, vor allem wenn man im Team entwickelt.

JS Bin bietet einen HTML- und Javascript-Editor in die man zun�chst den zu testenden Code eingibt. �ber den Karteireiter Output kann man sich nun das Ergebnis direkt ansehen.

Steckt nun der Teufel im Detail und man selbst kommt nicht drauf wo der Fehler zu finden ist, kann man den Code speichern und man erh�lt eine �ffentlich zug�ngliche Url, die man einem Kollegen schickt. Ruft dieser den Code auf, kann er ihn verbessern und Bescheid geben, wenn alles funktioniert. Der Austausch findet immer �ber die gleiche Url statt.

Ein ziemlich simples aber �berzeugendes Konzept. Um AJAX-Funktionalit�ten zu testen, legt man zun�chst eine Code-Url mit den JSON-Daten an und eine weitere mit dem Code der die Datenquelle nutzen soll. Da die Adressen und der dahinterliegende Code f�r 30 Tage gespeichert werden, kann man so bequem AJAX-Funktionalit�t mit statischen Daten testen.

F�r den Einsatz von diversen Javascript-Frameworks kann man in den HTML-Code �ber eine DropDown-Liste zum Beispiel jQuery, YUI oder die MooTools einbinden.

Sehr eing�ngig sind die beiden Video-Tutorials gemacht in denen Sharp die grundlegenende Funktionen von JS Bin darstellt. Ich finde das Tool ein absolutes Muss f�r jede Bookmark-Sammlung...
