GAC-Viewer unter Windows XP

Das .NET-Framework residiert unter Windows bekannterma�en im sog. GAC (Global Assembly Cache). Bezogen auf die Festplatte, wird dieser vom Ordner C:\Windows\Assembly repr�sentiert, d.h. dort liegen alle Assemblies. Man kann diesen Ordner zwar einsehen, aber Microsoft hat sich f�r die Anzeige des Inhaltes dieses Ordner den sog. GAC-Viewer einfallen lassen, eine Explorer-Extension �hnlich dem Font-Viewer.

Da sich auch diverse .NET-Programme im GAC verewigen, w�re es allerdings manchmal ganz gut, wenn man an die eigentlichen Dateien hinter dem Viewer herankommen w�rde. Wie nicht anders zu erwarten ist die GAC-Viewer-Ansicht nur eine Registry-Einstellung, die sich mit den folgenden beiden REG-Dateien ein- bzw. ausschalten l�sst:
